About Me: Valorie is a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional with dual certifications as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C). Her mission is to provide comprehensive and patient-centered care to individuals and families, addressing their mental health care needs.

Specializations: Psychiatric Mental Health: Expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety, and psychotic disorders. Committed to promoting mental well-being through evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions.

Family Healthcare: Adept at delivering primary healthcare services to individuals across the lifespan. Skilled in preventive care, health maintenance, and managing acute and chronic illnesses. Emphasis on building strong patient-provider relationships.

Professional Experience: With 15 years of experience in healthcare, she has worked in various settings, including nursing homes, psychiatric clinics, hospitals, primary care practices and in a teaching role. This diverse experience has honed her ability to provide comprehensive and integrated care to diverse populations. She has been working in psychiatry as a Nurse Practitioner for three years. She has experience seeing children, adolescents and adults. Valoire is also currently involved in seeing elderly patients in nursing home settings and adult patients with traumatic brain injuries in a long-term living facility.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Ferris State University.
Master of Science degree in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) from Spring Arbor University.
Post Graduate Degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Saginaw Valley State University.

DR. JAFFERANY, MD

Dr. Jafferany is a board-certified psychiatrist with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He completed his adult psychiatry residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and his fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Washington/Seattle Children’s Hospital in Seattle, Washington. He is a member of several professional organizations such as the American Psychiatric Association and, the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry among others. Dr. Jafferany has a research, many publications, and practice interest in Psychodermatology.
